Freehostia If you are an independent musician or publisher, you need a place to put your website... and if you are like me, you want that service to be free! One of the best places I've found along those lines in the last couple of years is www.freehostia.com That's where my entire magazine resides. Their interface is quick and easy to learn, so that you'll be able to use DREAMWEAVER or MS FRONT PAGE to author your magazine sections, then simply punch a couple of buttons to upload. They are "always on", & the only thing I have had some delays with are the STATS pages... but they almost always come back on in only a matter of minutes. Their statistics utilities are superb, too... all referrers, pages hit most often & a great amount of detail about those hits. Other hosting sites advertise these utilities, but few execute them as smoothly as these folks You should check them out if you are looking for a cool place to host your material. For the person just starting with web publication, this is one of the best sites I've ever seen, whether you're an amateur or seasoned writer/publisher.
